Black Belt Programme

Duration: 15 days, plus pre-work. Each 5 days of training is separated by a minimum of 3 weeks to permit the Black Belt to work on their improvement project.

Who Should Attend: high-performing employees with a current role in process improvement. Participants should preferably have practical project management and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt experience.

Learning Objectives:
The purpose of our intense Black Belt Programme is to improve an existing process that will yield a bottom line financial improvement while transferring more advanced Lean Six Sigma skills to the participant. It has been developed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to accomplish the following learning objectives:

  • Ability to explain the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and principles and apply these in various business processes throughout the organization.
  • Thoroughly applying the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) model, including statistical tools and concepts.
  • Obtain a fundamental understanding of the techniques used in project management, including planning, deploying, monitoring, etc.
  • Demonstrate ‘soft skills’ such as team leadership and dynamics, change management, facilitation and mobilization of stakeholders.

  • Bottom-line results: clients report annual benefits of €150,000 to €250,000 per Black Belt project.
  • Development of change agents who facilitate and stimulate process improvement across functional departments.
  • Experienced Black Belts can act as project coaches to Green Belts, limiting external support and generating savings.

The Black Belt Programme is tailored to the client’s industry.
